Water Resistant HDF Scotia is used for covering the expansion along the outside edges of your flooring in wet areas such as kitchens, toilet areas etc. but can be used to cover expansion anywhere. Scotia is designed to be installed around the perimeter of the covered area of flooring, to cover the recommended expansion gap for the boards to be able to expand and contract ( see manufacturer's guidelines ).Fixing scotia after your flooring installation is completed with builders adhesive and/or a brad nailer. (We have a ride range of colours and colour match the scotia as close as we can to the flooring that you order.)

Example- Always allow atleast 10% for wastage for offcuts. eg. ( if you need 36m of scotia times that by 10% so 36x0.10=3.6m wich rounds up to two extra 2.4m lengths ) So keep in mind the wastage when ordering your trims apposed to just ordering how many metres you need as you could fall short otherwise.
